About the author

Balaji Krishnan is a Senior Technical Architect at Salesforce with more than 15 years of experience in AI-enabled cloud CRM modernization, enterprise architecture and intelligent automation for financial-services and public-sector organizations. His work centers on Salesforce architecture, Financial Services Cloud, Agentforce patterns, data integration, security, data governance and compliant cloud delivery.

He has served as a trusted architect on mission-critical CRM and automation programs for Fortune 50 financial institutions and state government. His experience includes architecting the State of Nevada COVID-19 Vaccine Cloud platform serving more than one million residents, leading Salesforce Financial Services Cloud modernization work for major financial-services organizations, and designing FSCNow, a Financial Services Cloud migration accelerator for moving client organizations from Sales Cloud to FSC.

His technical focus is the practical design of AI and agentic systems that can operate inside real enterprise constraints: identity, authorization, data boundaries, auditability, human review, operational control and regulatory expectations. He writes AgenticTransformation to translate that architecture experience into usable frameworks for leaders, platform teams and governance stakeholders working on CRM workflows, cloud integration patterns and accountable automation.

Balaji is an IEEE Senior Member and an active scholarly contributor and reviewer in AI-enabled cloud computing, CRM modernization and responsible digital transformation. His research and conference work includes an IEEE I2ITCON 2025 Best Paper Award for work on secure, policy-driven and sustainable AI at scale, along with peer-reviewed publications on cloud CRM implementation, LLM-based executive intelligence systems, AI-enhanced data engineering and composable AI workflows.

How the work is organized
